July 2007

The core CTE execution engine is complete. We are now running rigorous overnight stability tests to test the CTE’s ability to execute 100 test cases concurrently. Development work on admin sections, reports, metrics and visuals is still on-going.

TestAce ATOM is mid-way through its lease period and has been performing flawlessly; we have been informed that other departments within the customer’s site are interested in utilising it due it being totally device independent i.e Use the broadband connection available through a laptop whether via a data card or USB modem.

After almost 4 months of continuous “field” use, we have only received 1 small bug in TestAce ATOM which was turned-around within 2 hours of reporting it.

May 2007

As a parallel process with development, we are working closely with Creation Designs to provide graphics for the TestAce CTE front end, which is intuitive and simple to operate web application.

After some initial market research, we have currently working on a single Corporate version of TestAce CTE™ and will include:
  • A TestAce CTE™ server, utilising a MySQL database
  • Concurrent test execution support
  • Selected test tool interfaces developed to connect with complex testing equipment. The initial versions will be aimed at telecommunication customers that utilise core testing applications such as Catapult MGTS, DCT and Prosser Telecoms EVO.
  • Selected interfaces to connect with commonly available software testing frameworks in particular JUnit.

March 2007

TestAce ATOM has been leased to a major telecommunications provider in the UK to aid with the testing of their mobile broadband services.

February 2007

TestAce ATOM has been enhanced to allow each upload and download test element to trigger multiple concurrent sessions. This allows the tester to simulate multiple users accessing the internet from one network connection to test user service experience of mobile broadband solutions.

January 2007

Our team of developers have finalised the design for TestAce CTE and have started development from our original proto-type versions, with a view to completing the system by January 2008.
